Dry epidermis is one of the classic wrinkles. As we age, epidermis sheds its natural oils which help in maintaining the water information of epidermis. As those fats slowly get depleted, epidermis becomes dry and eventually becomes wrinkled and very tough in surface. Dried-out epidermis can happen any time during the year, but it is most common during the cold. During winter season, low temperatures, cold years and low humidity parts off the natural fat layer of epidermis which inhibits epidermis from strike blow drying out.
